This trail, which is marked with easy to follow yellow signs, is gentle underfoot but as with all woodland paths care should be taken to avoid tree roots and we recommend good shoes.From the waterfall head toward a path that runs between the pine trees and the cliff side, follow this past our fire pit and then on your right you will see the first yellow sign where you turn into the wooded area.The walk to the flowerpot takes about five minutes and you can continue onto the lookout park and return by the road, or if you wish, retrace your steps. Perhaps one of the best-kept secrets at Irish Mountain is the spectacular rock formation in the wooded area to the northeast of Irish Mountain B&B.Hidden by the maple and pine trees, this rock carved out millions of years ago by the glaciers, stands about 12 feet tall and like all flowerpot formations is much narrower at the base than at the top.This summer John and Bobbie, with the help of many of their B&B guests, have built a trail from the waterfall at the B&B to the flowerpot.
